Kortney was a strong self-advocate. An evidence based approach led her to steadfast choices in her hospital birth. She was mentally and emotionally prepared for how her uncommon choices could challenge the norm. Kortney labored unremarkably (always a good thing), and ultimately received her baby girl right into her arms a few hours after arriving at the hospital.
